The Fashion/Retail division is the legacy of our original organization as established by Marvin Traub and lies at the heart of TRAUB’s mission: to optimize and accelerate business across channels, borders and classifications of product.

The Fashion/Retail division works with brands, retailers, developers and related businesses to transform their business strategies into reality. TRAUB Fashion/Retail works closely with clients to provide creative and innovative thinking, a sounding board for management, strategic business planning, domestic & international distribution expansion, licensing opportunities and brand building.


The Licensing/Franchising division works with new and existing businesses to develop meaningful growth opportunities via licensing streams and franchising partnerships. The division works with both licensees and licensors on identifying new partnerships, developing products, creating a global distribution network and optimizing business operations. TRAUB Licensing/Franchising works with clients domestically as well as in key developing and emerging markets.

TRAUB has represented a long roster of clients and brands including K.Swiss, Xcel Brands, Tengram Capital Partners, Carlos Falchi, Gloria Vanderbilt, among others. TRAUB has also advised a diverse range of brands on developing an international retail presence with best-in-class franchise partners, including Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Harvey Nichols, Jessica Simpson, MoMA Design Store and Adrianna Papell. TRAUB has also developed licensing businesses for Cole Haan, Helmut Lang, Isaac Mizrahi, Lacoste, Zac Posen and Liz Claiborne.

TRAUB Celebrity’s Managing Partners have been credited with creating deals for a broad range of clients, including Lauren Conrad, Selena Gomez, Sofia Vergara, the Kardashians, Maddie & Tae, Josie Maran, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marlo Thomas, Jordin Sparks, Tony Bennett and Gordon Ramsay. The group’s engagements have included developing new product lines, negotiating licensing deals, facilitating partnerships with key retailers and developing brand strategies.


TRAUB Labs partners with entrepreneurs who have built early stage technology-enabled consumer, fashion and luxury goods companies as well as cutting edge retail platforms. TRAUB Labs leverages the TRAUB network to provide founders with meaningful resources, relationships and partnerships as we work with them work to expand their product offering and optimize their businesses. We partner with founders and management teams to enhance business plans, assist with go-to-market strategy, and establish strategic partnership opportunities.
